Preparation steps

  1. Place a cast iron skillet in the oven and preheat oven to 400 F.
  2. Place all ingredients in a large bowl and toss together so the potatoes and onions are coated with the oil and spices.
  3. When oven reaches temperature, dump ingredients from mixing bowl into the hot cast iron skillet.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes, then stir and bake for 15 more minutes.
